The district explains that entry gates are locked after operating hours, although an automatic arm permits vehicles already inside to exit.
Leaving is not the same as re-entering
EID warns that vehicles departing after the gatehouse locks will not be able to return until the entrance opens again the following day. This matters for campers or visitors who leave to obtain supplies, meet friends or eat dinner outside the park.
