CALIFORNIA — November 3, 2026. All 20 even-numbered California Senate districts are on the general-election ballot. This guide brings together all 40 certified candidates, their party preferences and campaign websites located by California58. It is a complete ballot directory, not a claim that every candidate has been seen casting a ballot.

What our reporting establishes

The candidate names and party preferences below were checked against the Secretary of State’s certified general-election list. Campaign links come from the official candidate contact list or separately identified campaign websites. A missing link means that California58 has not established a website for this directory; it does not mean the candidate has no campaign.

Personal voting verification: At publication, California58 has not established the location, time and voting method for each of these 40 candidates. Campaign-office addresses and mailing addresses are not polling locations. Undated campaign videos, legislative roll calls and June primary footage are not evidence of a November 3 personal vote.

Reporting across all 20 Senate districts

The links below lead to published local reports covering both candidates in every district. Coverage includes campaign profiles, platform comparisons and documented event announcements. It does not mean that all 40 personal voting appearances have been verified.

How local coverage is assigned

A verified appearance belongs to the community where it happened. A candidate’s policy platform may also be relevant to communities represented by the district. Those are different geographical connections: neither establishes where that candidate voted. California58 uses a single article across the appropriate local and county editions wherever possible.

Where to check election information

Consult the Secretary of State’s election page and the relevant county registrar for voting information and official returns. Early figures are not certified results. This directory makes no prediction about winners.

Sources and limitations

Certified candidate list, August 27; Official contact list, September 23; LAist’s Senate guide; candidate websites linked above. Campaign pages contain candidates’ own claims. Social-account links alone do not verify the date or contents of a post. Some social platforms restricted access during research.
