HIGH DESERT — November 4, 2026. San Bernardino County’s election-night summary shows a lead for Jesse R. Ramirez in the Mojave Water Agency’s Division 6 director contest. The unofficial report lists 5,819 votes (68.79%) for Ramirez and 2,618 (30.95%) for Ron Haefele, with a difference of 3,201 votes.
A regional water-agency election
The Mojave Water Agency serves a regional role in managing water resources. Its director divisions are distinct from the boundaries of individual municipal councils and from other water agencies. This election is specifically for Division 6, and the vote totals must not be described as the preferences of every High Desert settlement.
According to the registrar, 152 of 152 precincts were reported in the election-night summary, and 9,871 ballots were cast out of 36,273 registered voters associated with the contest. The total votes recorded for the two candidates is 8,459, reflecting that some ballots did not include a vote in this race.
The returns are unofficial. For new counts, see San Bernardino County’s official election reporting, where the next update is scheduled by 6 p.m. on November 5.
