A sealed-bid sale, not a live bidding room

Caltrans has scheduled a sealed-bid public auction with a livestream bid opening Friday, November 6, 2026. The department lists its District 6 office at 2015 East Shields Avenue, Suite 100, Fresno, and includes a remote meeting link in the public property register. Buyers must use the official brochure to confirm bid submission procedures and deadlines; watching the livestream does not itself submit a bid.

Rural property requires extra checks

The agency identifies the land as unimproved vacant land. That label is not evidence of water rights, legal building access, septic feasibility, utilities or a particular permitted use. Interested residents or farmers should check official zoning, site conditions, parcel boundaries and restrictions with the relevant authorities before making plans.
