Additional cultural and heritage observances
California law and CalHR policy also recognize additional dates for certain holiday-credit options, including Lunar New Year, Genocide Remembrance Day, Diwali, Juneteenth and Native American Day. These rules are not identical to the regular paid holiday schedule and eligibility varies.
