TRINITY COUNTY, California — Friday, October 30, 2026. Weaverville, California celebrates Halloween weekend with a historic downtown atmosphere and the final day of a blacksmithing gathering. Be careful searching online: results for ‘Weaverville’ can also refer to a town in North Carolina, and its Halloween events are not in Trinity County.

Saturday, October 31: confirmed events and critical date corrections

2026 Hammer-In blacksmithing demonstrations

When: Thursday Oct. 29–Saturday Oct. 31; check specific daily visiting hours. Location: Weaverville, Trinity County, California.

Visit Trinity describes a three-day gathering where blacksmiths exchange skills and visitors can watch live demonstrations; Halloween weekend is the concluding date. Check the original listing.

Historic downtown Weaverville Halloween walk

When: Saturday evening, Oct. 31; exact merchant route and hours vary. Location: Main Street, Weaverville, CA.

The Trinity tourism bureau describes businesses and streets filling with trick-or-treaters on Halloween Saturday. This is a community street tradition, not a separately ticketed festival with a fixed published start. Check the original listing.

Suggested day and travel logistics

A daylight visit to watch the Hammer-In and stroll historic Weaverville makes the most sense before evening neighborhood trick-or-treating. Confirm blacksmithing demonstration schedule and merchant participation with Trinity County’s actual California tourism bureau. Do not follow an event listing for 63 North Main Street, Weaverville, North Carolina; it is across the country.

Sunday November 1 and other considerations

Sunday, November 1, can be used for a daytime local heritage walk if weather permits, but the Halloween treat tradition reported here is Saturday evening.

Confirm attendance and stay safe

All dates are local California time. Halloween falls on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026; do not confuse Friday, October 30 announcements with events still happening tomorrow. If a venue changes its schedule, the organizer’s latest notice controls. Check age requirements, costs, whether a ticket includes special activities, and seasonal weather. Watch for pedestrians wearing costumes and never enter closed roads. For state highways review Caltrans QuickMap.
