TUOLUMNE COUNTY, California — Friday, October 30, 2026. Tuolumne County’s Halloween Saturday includes a children’s costume parade at Sonora’s Junction Shopping Center and later family activities in Jamestown. Confirmed times make a two-part day possible, but evening railroad excursions are ticketed separately.

Suggested day and travel logistics
Families can participate in Sonora’s morning parade then choose Jamestown in the afternoon. The Jamestown 4–6 p.m. gathering overlaps with the first railroad evening departure, so don’t purchase incompatible timed tickets. The community Tuolumne Park parade separately took place Wednesday October 28 despite generic annual pages saying October 31.
Sunday November 1 and other considerations
For a low-cost day, the shopping-center parade and Jamestown town event are clearly different from a reserved evening train ride; check admission before selecting the latter.
Confirm attendance and stay safe
All dates are local California time. Halloween falls on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026; do not confuse Friday, October 30 announcements with events still happening tomorrow. If a venue changes its schedule, the organizer’s latest notice controls. Check age requirements, costs, whether a ticket includes special activities, and seasonal weather. Watch for pedestrians wearing costumes and never enter closed roads. For state highways review Caltrans QuickMap.
