Plan by region, not just by attraction
Downtown and Exposition Park suit a museum-focused day; the Westside and Malibu make a separate coastal outing; the Antelope Valley is a much longer drive with seasonal wildflower conditions. Before traveling, consult California road conditions, weather alerts and the destination’s official operator. Beach currents, wildfire risks, heat and temporary road closures are particularly important.
