TULARE COUNTY — November 6, 2026. The county’s first post-election report, dated November 5 at 5:51:06 p.m., shows several local contests separated by very small numbers. These are dated preliminary snapshots from the ongoing canvass.

A tie and margins of one, two and three votes

In Monson–Sultana Area 5, Chaun Lopez and Justin Simmons are tied at 15 votes each. In Waukena, Leandro Sanchez’s 43 votes put him one ahead of Cirila Mora at the third-seat boundary. Pixley’s school board race has a two-vote gap, while Poplar’s director contest has three votes between second and third place.

Read the local reports

The linked reports identify the office, available seats and candidate totals. School board, healthcare, utility and irrigation district elections are separate contests. A county subtotal for a district extending across county lines must be read with the other county’s return.

Cross-county reporting

For Kings Canyon Unified Area 1, the existing report now includes Fresno and Tulare portions. The two county sources have different timestamps, which are preserved in the story.

Every result remains unofficial. A report showing all precincts represented does not mean all eligible ballots have been processed or the outcome certified.
