YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — November 4, 2026, evening editorial review. Woodland City Council member Mayra Vega leads Dotty Pritchard by 879 votes in the contest for Yolo County Board of Supervisors District 3. The county’s official unofficial election-results report, generated November 4 at 1:37 a.m. Pacific, lists 4,811 votes for Vega (55.03%) and 3,932 for Pritchard (44.97%).
What is at stake in District 3?
District 3 covers portions of Woodland and West Sacramento, including the Bryte and Broderick communities and rural areas of Yolo County. The two candidates are competing to succeed Supervisor Mary Vixie-Sandy. Vega has served on the Woodland City Council; Pritchard has worked in the supervisor’s district office. The county’s official candidate list confirms both candidates for the November 3 runoff.
How the latest county-reported count compares with election night
Abridged by PBS KVIE reported that the first election-night vote batch showed Vega at 4,231 and Pritchard at 3,512. Those earlier figures are superseded by the 1:37 a.m. county totals above. The county lists 13 of 13 precincts reporting, but 100% of precincts reporting does not mean that all eligible ballots have been canvassed.
Next official update
Yolo County’s election-results schedule says the next results release will be Friday, November 6, by 5:00 p.m. Pacific, followed by regular Tuesday and Friday updates until certification, due no later than December 3. Therefore a new 5 November number cannot be claimed before an official release exists. Neither candidate is declared the certified winner in this report.
