SACRAMENTO AND YOLO COUNTIES, Calif. — November 4, 2026, evening editorial review. Early returns on Los Rios Community College District Measure H show substantial Yes majorities in both Yolo and Sacramento County, where voters weighed a proposed $1.1 billion community-college facilities bond. The measure requires 55% approval across the eligible voting district, and the results are still unofficial.

Yolo County portion: 18,594 Yes, 8,317 No

The Yolo County ACE Department’s cumulative official unofficial report, produced November 4 at 1:37 a.m. Pacific, lists 18,594 Yes votes (69.09%) and 8,317 No (30.91%) in the Yolo County portion of Los Rios School Facilities Improvement District No. 1. These are Yolo votes only, not the entire college district’s totals.

Sacramento County portion: approximately 62% Yes

In the separate Sacramento County reporting displayed by The Ballot Book, the proposal has about 62% Yes and 38% No, with a reported count of 139,623 Yes to 85,431 No. This is a different county’s reporting snapshot, and the totals are not combined here because the two reports may have different timestamps and processing schedules.

What Measure H would pay for

The Los Rios Community College District’s official ballot information says the bond is intended to support job training and affordable higher education facilities, repair damaged roofs, improve drinking water infrastructure and modernize buildings. Its ballot description gives an estimated average levy below $17 per $100,000 of assessed valuation, requires audits and independent oversight, and says funding must remain local. The estimated tax effect describes the measure’s proposal, not an independently verified future cost.

When are results final?

Yolo County’s next scheduled results update is Friday, November 6 by 5 p.m. Pacific, according to the county election office. Sacramento County uses its own reporting schedule. The final districtwide outcome requires the completion of the official canvass; California58 is reporting early Yes majorities, not declaring the bond formally approved.
