How to submit
Email your letter to california58com@gmail.com with the subject Letter to the Editor — [Your Town]. Include your full name, city and county, a reliable contact email, and the newspaper or community you are writing about. You may include relevant links or supporting documents. Please tell us whether you consent to publication under your name.
Editorial guidelines
- Submit your own original writing. Identify any substantial AI assistance or previously published versions.
- Keep letters focused on a specific community issue. We may edit for length, clarity, accuracy, and legal concerns.
- We may contact you to verify authorship and facts before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication.
- Do not include private personal information, threats, discriminatory attacks, or unsupported accusations.
- Views expressed in letters belong to their authors and do not necessarily represent California58 or its local newspapers.
