LOS ANGELES COUNTY — October 28, 2026. California58 has launched a dedicated English-language election results hub for the November 3, 2026 General Election in Los Angeles County. The page brings together official results, the county’s ballot-processing livestream, the expected Election Night reporting schedule and editorial updates.

When will the first results appear?

According to the Election Night Media Guide sent to the newsroom by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, initial preliminary results are expected November 3 between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. Pacific. They will include vote-by-mail ballots received before Election Day. The next release will add early in-person ballots cast at Vote Centers before Election Day.

What can readers see?

The hub provides a direct link to the official county election results, a link to the official ballot-processing livestream and an explanation of how results are updated and verified. Automatic import of vote totals into California58 has not yet been activated; the official county website remains the authoritative source for current numbers.

One source for LA County communities

California58’s Los Angeles County edition and its community newspapers can link to the same permanent results page rather than create competing, potentially inconsistent versions of the vote count. The coverage will clearly distinguish preliminary totals from certified results, and updates will be attributed to the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.
