Community Voice
Every community deserves to be heard. California58 is introducing one reader-priorities survey in each local newspaper, a countywide survey in each of our 58 county editions, and a statewide survey. Readers can raise questions about roads, drinking water, local schools, environmental conditions, safety, businesses and other matters affecting their neighbors.
Reader polling will run through December 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m. California time once the secure voting feature is enabled. Voting will require a registered California58 account. Each registered account may submit one ballot per survey, including a neutral option, and may privately suggest questions for editors to review. Ballots are voluntary, nonrepresentative reader opinions—not a scientific survey of California residents. Editorial decisions will never be determined by a vote alone.
Launch status: The voting feature is being reviewed for activation. No votes can be cast until the controls appear below.
Browse your local newspaper, find county editions, or read our newspaper rankings and reader votes. A readership ranking measures recorded page views, not unique people.
