DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. — October 30, 2026. In Del Norte County, Saturday’s confirmed Halloween opportunities cluster in Crescent City. The local newspaper’s event roundup identifies a no-cost California Highway Patrol trunk-or-treat and an adult fundraising dinner, making it possible to choose by age and budget.

Saturday, October 31: what is actually scheduled

CHP Crescent City Trunk or Treat

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 5:30–7:30 p.m.. Where: California Highway Patrol parking lot, 1630 Summer Lane, Crescent City.

Del Norte County Library children’s Halloween party

The community roundup describes a children’s party with crafts, games and prizes. Check current space availability directly with library staff. Source and last-minute checks.

Masquerade and Mystery fundraiser

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 6–10 p.m.. Where: Crescent City Elks Lodge, 359 H Street.

Gateway Education’s ticketed mystery dinner includes an auction; suitable for adults planning an evening out, not an open public trick-or-treat. Source and last-minute checks.

Plan your Halloween day

For children, a library visit in the afternoon followed by the CHP parking-lot event is achievable within Crescent City. The fundraiser conflicts with the evening family program; choose one. North Coast rain and darkness require warm, weather-resistant costumes.

Sunday, November 1, and other options

Events in Brookings or other Oregon communities are across the state line and are not being mislabeled as Del Norte County events.

Verify before traveling

The date of Halloween is Saturday, October 31, 2026. A program held on Friday, October 30, should not be mistaken for a Saturday event. Organizers may change hours, fees or locations. Confirm the latest calendar and any required booking; some tourism and community calendars aggregate submitted listings rather than manage the event themselves. Keep children’s costumes visible, use marked crossings and plan for autumn darkness. For live state-road conditions use Caltrans QuickMap.
