MARIN COUNTY — October 26, 2026. Residents can vote early at participating county locations ahead of the November 3 general election. Marin County’s October 23 announcement identifies four vote centers open since October 24, with 15 more scheduled to open October 31 and two on Election Day.

Four early centers in different communities

The first locations include Marin City at the Marguerita C. Johnson Senior Center, 640 Drake Avenue; Novato at United Methodist Church, 1473 South Novato Boulevard; San Geronimo at the Valley Community Center, 6350 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard; and San Rafael at the County Elections Department, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 121. The Civic Center site initially opened October 5 and operates on its own posted hours.

The county says all Marin voters may use any county vote center, not only a site in their hometown. Centers provide voting and assistance with replacement ballots. On October 31, further locations are scheduled in Fairfax, Kentfield, Larkspur, Mill Valley, Novato, Point Reyes Station, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Sausalito and Tiburon.

Two locations only open Election Day

Marin identifies Bolinas Community Center, 14 Wharf Road, and the Albert J. Boro Community Center in San Rafael, 50 Canal Street, as additional centers opening November 3. Residents should not assume these centers are open on October 26.

The county also maintains ballot drop boxes, but their availability and services are not the same as a staffed voting location. Check Marin Elections for exact hours and accessibility before visiting. Mailing by October 27 is recommended to help ensure timely delivery; that is not the statutory Election Day deadline.
