California58 Creative Studio combines multimedia storytelling, digital publishing experience and technical project coordination for businesses, nonprofits, public institutions and creative agencies in California, across the United States and internationally.

We discuss both on-site and remote assignments. Editing, design, copywriting, website work and campaign planning can be delivered remotely. On-location video production, photography, conference coverage and livestreams outside our usual working areas are quoted only after confirming travel, qualified local support, permissions, equipment and budget. California58 does not claim permanent studios, employees or crews in every city, state or country.

Our creative and digital services

  • Film and video production: commercial videos, brand stories, interviews, documentaries, web series, educational films, nonprofit campaigns and project recaps.
  • Photography: business portraits, conferences, community events, workplace photography and promotional visual assets.
  • Live events and virtual production: livestream planning, speaker and panel recording, webinars, hybrid meetings, conference documentation and edited event clips.
  • Websites and digital products: WordPress websites, content architecture, landing pages, publishing workflows, accessibility improvements and application/project scoping where appropriate technical capacity is available.
  • Digital marketing: marketing campaign planning, content calendars, basic SEO/on-page improvements, social-media creative, promotional reels and analytics reporting within agreed scope.
  • Creative services: scripts, copywriting, graphic design, captions, transcripts, English–Russian writing and translation or English–Ukrainian adaptation when qualified review is available. Other languages may require outside reviewers.

Capabilities and personnel are confirmed for each proposal. Specialist services such as legal videography, official interpretation, regulated professional advice, certified translation, drone operations or major live-event engineering are not represented as available without qualified staff, permits and agreed subcontracting.

For businesses and marketing agencies

We can work on a direct client project or as a creative subcontractor, including discrete video editing, location interviews, production coordination, social clips, website updates and documentary footage. White-label arrangements, licensing, confidentiality and final ownership of materials must be in writing.

For government, universities and nonprofits

Potential deliverables include public-service explainers, training videos, agency event documentation, community outreach, multilingual communication, educational web content, accessible captioned videos and public meetings. Please provide the RFP/RFQ number, solicitation details and technical specifications. See our Government & Nonprofit Media Capability Statement.

How projects are scoped

  1. Share the project objective, location and target audience.
  2. Choose deliverables: full video, photo set, event recording, website pages, campaign content or ongoing editing.
  3. Confirm delivery dates, approvals, format, revisions, subtitles, licensing, permits and any accessibility requirements.
  4. Receive a project-specific scope and quote before work begins.

Where we work

California: production requests from communities across the state are reviewed by location and crew availability. Other US states: available by project, travel or approved local production coordination. International: remote content, editing, design, website and marketing work can be discussed; overseas on-site production requires separate logistical and legal review.

Commercial video and photography · Event livestream and conference recording · All media production services · Advertising and sponsorship

Commercial creative services are separate from independent journalism. A paid production does not purchase positive news coverage; sponsored distribution is labeled.
