SACRAMENTO COUNTY, California — November 4, 2026. Eight named candidates are competing for one Los Rios Community College District trustee seat in Area 2, according to the county’s semi-final November 3 election results.

Eight-candidate race

The Sacramento County Registrar’s November 4, 1:25 a.m. Pacific summary shows the following Area 2 votes reported in Sacramento County: Oranit Limmaneeprasert — 8,357 (22.52%); Phil Davis — 7,572 (20.41%); Paula Villescaz — 6,970 (18.78%); and Mark Gregg — 6,547 (17.64%). The remaining four candidates were Martin Ross (2,721), Tim Loree (2,708), Sukdip “Steve” Chima (1,194) and Jonathan Brownell (1,036), plus write-in votes.

Limmaneeprasert’s reported Sacramento County lead over Davis was 785 votes in this snapshot. The percentages reflect candidate selections in a single-seat contest, not the proportion of residents casting ballots.

Why the district matters

Los Rios governs community-college education in the Sacramento region. Trustees oversee the community college district rather than the Sacramento Unified public school system or an individual city government. The official county return used here is Sacramento County’s tally; in any overlapping jurisdiction, voters should confirm the applicable districtwide official total rather than assume a county snapshot alone certifies the result.

The count remains unofficial, with a next Sacramento County interim update scheduled for November 6. The article does not announce a certified elected trustee.
