HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Humboldt County — November 4, 2026. Two positions in Humboldt Community Services District show Julie M. Ryan and Gregg Gardiner at the top of the unofficial count.

Unofficial results

Ryan has 1,770 selections, Gardiner 1,668 and Alan Bongio 1,336.

What the vote means locally

The district is a local public-services authority, not a county supervisor district or a city council. The second-to-third margin is 332 candidate selections. Additional eligible ballots and certification remain.

Why counting continues

The November 3 general-election final election-night report included 21,509 ballots countywide, but this was not the final tally of all eligible ballots. The county announced that post-election updates would begin November 5 around 5 p.m. Pacific. Precinct reporting does not confirm that all mail and provisional ballots have been canvassed.
