NEVADA COUNTY, California — November 4, 2026. Voters in the Pleasant Ridge Union Elementary School District are choosing three governing board members. The county’s election-night figures have Diane Getchell, Peggy Fava and Kelly McKinley occupying the top three places. This is a district-wide school governance contest, not an election for mayor of Grass Valley, Penn Valley or any other town.

Election-night selections

The Nevada County official 2026 general-election dashboard lists Diane Getchell with 2,797 candidate selections (24.75%), Peggy Fava 2,774 (24.55%) and Kelly McKinley 1,960 (17.35%). Skyler Corcoran had 1,849 (16.36%), Kalea Friant 1,438 (12.73%) and Jason Erman 481 (4.26%).

In this reported batch, McKinley stood 111 selections ahead of Corcoran for third position. Since voters could select up to three candidates, percentages describe candidate selections, not the share of unique voters participating.

All precincts reported does not mean certification

The dashboard shows 17 of 17 precincts with election-night returns; the county labels the final overnight update as current to 12:24 a.m. November 4. Eligible mail and provisional ballots can still be validated during the canvass. The county plans to post updated reports on Tuesdays and Fridays until results are certified.
